New Star Trek and Man of Steel posters

Two of the biggest, and most shrouded in secrecy, blockbusters of 2013 got new gritty posters today.

First up is the first poster for Star Trek Into Darkness. It's not surprising that we have no idea what's going on in this poster, but what's interesting to note is that INTO DARKNESS is a much more prominent title than the small font STAR TREK. Is this going to be a wildly different film?

And finally we have a second poster for Man of Steel, this time showing a completely different side of him. Superman in handcuffs!? Why is he being arrested / why is he letting himself be arrested?

Full trailers for both of these movies should hit pretty soon. Man of Steel is set to hit theatres June 14th 2013 and Star Trek Into Darkness is looking at a 17th of May 2013 release date.
