Fast & Furious: Showdown skidding onto consoles in May

Activision has picked up yet another license, announcing Fast & Furious: Showdown in conjunction with Universal.

Fast & Furious: Showdown is set for a release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22 to coincide with Fast & Furious 6 on June 6.

With plenty of hot cars to choose from, and the ability to build your dream car, the game "provides the ability to switch between key roles from driver, gunman, tactician, to daredevil."

There's two-player co-operative play and a "Challenge Mode" with over-the-top objectives and online scoreboards.

Mad skids, bro! (That's the right audience for this, right?)
