The trailer entices me, the reviews don't. I'll be seeing it either way though, I am hoping it is a bit like Phone Booth.

But in all seriousness, a reviewer in the paper today made the comparison between this and Phone Booth, saying that the latter's director (someone Cohen?) was far better at gimmicky movies like this. But they also gave this one star, so...

Well I'm double-headering this tonight with Chronicle, so I'll let you guys know later on. I'm expecting it to be stupid fun like Phone Booth.

EDIT: it was a lot of fun and extremely entertaining. If you like Phone Booth and the Next Three Days, this is a perfect combination of the two.

Wow it had a really soft opening here, only opened with $506,000 in 10th spot. It was lower down than Sherlock Holmes, which has been out for age.

This isn't his first flop... Texas Killing Fields, Last Night, the Debt and Man on a Ledge.

He has Wrath of the Titans out next month and he has an Aussie film out at the end of the year.

Apart from Man on a Ledge, none of them would have expected to have massive cut through at the box office. The Debt did alright at the US with 30+ million, covering its budget. Texas Killing Fields was a really low budget indie, so the expectations for that weren't high. And Last Night had cut through potential but didn't get enough studio backing.

So whilst his films are classified as flops, I don't think they'll affect his career. Not one of them is anything like the films that have made him big, so as long as Wrath of the Titans pulls a crowd, he'll be fine.

Unless you want him to disappear?
