I just had the idea that it might be useful for people to list movies here that can be spoiled by their trailers.

My motivation comes from watching the trailer for 'Triangle', a rare instance of a horror movie that sounds and looks crap but is actually meant to be quite good, and having the whole thing spoiled for me!

Another one I know of is 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed'.

Help list more!

Kinda hard, cos most of the trailers we're watching come out months before we see the actual film.

And technically all trailers spoil movies. If you're already sold on something, don't watch the trailer, simple :P

I fail to abide by that rule though, as I love trailers.

Best example of a trailer that shows way too much is the trailer for Richard Gere's new film The Double. Haven't seen the film, but I have seen the trailer and it spoils the big twist in the film.

Yeah, but it's pretty easy to know when something's been spoiled. And if you post it here other people might not have it spoiled for them :P

I'm sorry but how the **** could someone stuff up that trailer for The Double so bad. It's literally the whole movie crammed into 2 minutes. [WTF] I just couldn't help watching it again. At least it's a time efficient way to watch a movie I guess.
