I tried looking for a suggestion thread but couldnt find one :/

Anyways i was thiiiiiiiiiiiiinkingggggggggggggggggggg

on the bar where we select which page of the thread to go to.. maybe we can have some sort of indicator on the pages we have a post in? Maybe a small triangle on the corner of the square or that page number box can be colored in or something?

Is there any way we could see who has "+1'd" forum posts? Or is that too hard to implement? I love the feature but it would be cool to see which members had pressed it.

Edit: Or even a '+1' counter on our profiles, so we could see total +1's accumulated from our posts?

It would depend on how it's implemented, but it could also be annoying how the info fills up the screen. I used to use a forum that implemented a similar system, and besides the fact it was just eye spam that you couldn't avoid it also changed the vibe among the members... I didn't like it at all. :(

The way I would implement it (and I'd be the one implementing most of it haha) would take a bit of memory as I couldn't think of another way except to store a signature from every member who clicks +1 and have it display the members from the database who clicked it.

And say what? How? It's well and good to tell me to go have a box appear akin to Facebook - honestly I would love it too. Having the popup would require something I would spend a while thinking about. I'm not sure how I could do it properly without slowing down too much. Will definitely look into it (:

I would have it as a popup with an 'x' in the top right so you can excuse it, or it would just be hover-able when you hover over the +x

Yeah, I understand. I'll look into it, because I've been thinking the same thing, but I also like the anonymity of the +x and not knowing who does what. It's all up to EndBoss ultimately, however.

Haha didn't expect the discussion that followed but enjoyed the insight it offered and good to hear other people's opinions on the whole idea. But clearly it shouldn't be treated as a huge priority!

Well, I'm now the guy who will be looking in this thread wondering what suggestions to implement, so bring in some ideas.
