It starts off with a bang, gets kinda mundane after 4, and ends crappily on 6. But it's still an epic show :D

Not really that exciting lol.
Season 1 was pretty average, and the comics have been getting worse.

Either that or I'm just finding zombies boring.

I'll give this season a shot though.

Glad this season is back following the comics again.

This ep was quite intense too, especially early when they all had to hide. And Norman Reedus was pretty badass this ep.

Looking forward to what the rest of the season has to offer, the little preview at the end looked very enticing.

The first 30 mins or so was really tense. But I didnt really like how it went after that... Surely if a little girl was getting chased into a forest by 2 walkers you would think that more than 1 adult should have chased after her to help. Also, seeing as how easy it is to outrun/kill the walkers I'm sure there wouldve been an easier way to try and help her.

It was a decent start, but people I have on Google + are ruining the show for me.

They are jumping up and down like it is the greatest show to hit Television ever. Last season was decent, I enjoyed it, but it was decent, nothing more and nothing lest.

The comics are much better IMO, but I have to admit this was a good opener.

I'm failing to recognise any shows that go far beyond this? Considering production value, the tone, the effects, story, acting, I think this is right up there, right up there.

Sure, there's shows that are probably better written, and offer a lot more on an entertainment level. But this, for what it is, is an incredibly well made television show.

The acting? You seriously? The opening seen of the new season is probably the worst acting I've ever seen on tv, I've seen better in 90210 and Gossip Girl.

I have not watched it yet. But the first season was very well acted. It's a bloody tv show, lower your standards, most of what we watch is craply acted. Look at your true love, Friday Night Lights, blurggh! [sick]

Depends on who you are looking at in FNL, Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton are both amazing in that show.

And I do lower my standards, but calling Walking Dead tv is wrong. It isn't tv. It is high quality and expensive, it is pay-tv, it is short seasons. It being pay-tv means you should be getting top-notch, almost film like quality. At times Walking Dead doesn't match this and it falls far behind Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, It's Always Sunny, the Killing, Games of Thrones, Justified, Treme and even True Blood exceeds in areas Walking Dead is lacking.

I am not saying TWD is bad, I love it and it would be one of my favourite shows to watch, but it is average and lacks in a lot of areas. The acting is poor, the scripting and plotting is sometimes lacking, it has a ****load of plotholes. It just isn't produced with the same quality that a lot of other pay-tv shows are.

Yeah not a bad start to the season. A few things piss'd me off a bit. But... what can ya do. I know it is based on a Comic/Novel series but, I really can't see it lasting for more than a few seasons.

Big fan of the first season, that being said.

This second season is total ass, all characters are now bumbling morons who wander off, injure themselves unnecessarily and argue constantly, I have zero interest in this shoddily written knock-off since they obviously cannot live up to the original material.

I'm out, I wish death upon all these new versions of the characters for they are simply awful, there are too many good shows out there to bother with this tripe.
