If anyone here has read the comics, you will know that this show will be a massive hit.

I agree with the music.
I don't know if Darabont had any say in it, but it really reminded me of this song used at the end of The Mist www.youtube.com/...

Way too overbearing and didn't really fit at all.
Both are nice tracks, just not used correctly.
I don't think La Niebla should ever be used in a film though. It is WAY to dramatic for anything on screen. Music is supposed to support what is happening on screen, if ever you notice the music and it distracts you, it's not working.

Really didn't enjoy the new ep, felt so forced and it completely ruined the style of the show by going after the CDC. I mean that ending was so ****ing lame and all those scenes with the dude in the CDC were terrible.

The show is no longer playing to its strengths, lets hope it picks up again next ep or next season.

Yer, I have a bad feeling about the whole CDC now...
The comic never went the whole let's find a cure route.
Well, one character claimed he knew of a cure, he was lying though, and that was well into it.

It just seems way to early to go down that road for now.
I'll wait for the finale before I judge it though, prior to this everything has been amazing.

Really wish they went with the ending of the first volume of the comics though.

Final ep was a bit boring. I like that it was a bit more dramatic but they are moving too far away from the comics and at an alarming rate. Could that be why Darabont fired the writers?

I haven't read the comics but I would rate the eps the same as Milky except for Ep5 which I would give a 3.

The season final was a bit disappointing. Kinda felt like it went nowhere and achieved nothing (although I am curious to see what Jenner whispered to Rick). I also hated the scene between Shane and Lori, thought it was a bit cliche. I'm looking forward to Season 2 though, with a new slate of writers and all.

Just finished season 1. Awesome show. Cant wait for season 2. Favourite ep was probably 4, but I'm sure 1 would be the best if i watched it through again, such a hard hitting and overbearing pilot, good to see.

OMG I just finished reading the entire first compendium for the comic and damn, it's sooo good. My bf got hooked on it and finished it within a day as well. The series has gone a bit off track, I'm kinda glad it's not following that path but it really pulls you in and makes you care about the characters; same basic concept.

I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who likes the show, or zombies.

It's a good series (comics) Been reading it since '04

Lol, they aren't released just in compendiums :P

One issue every month, a volume every 6 months, a book every year and a compendium every 4 years.

Go buy Book 5 and 6 and you should be just about up to date.
Last issue you read was like 48 or 49 I believe, it's up to 83 or 84 now.
