Heading into the Christmas season and not sure what to get your brother/cousin/father/uncle? Chances are they love action movies, what kind of bloke doesn't? Here's five of the manliest movies to be released on the cheap this Christmas?
Terminator Salvation
Give that special loved one a chance to see a decent Terminator sequel. It may not be able to hold a candle close to the masterpiece that was Judgement Day, but Christian Bale and Sam Worthington show us what the war of the machines really looks like. Non-stop action, robots and explosions, you son't get much more manly than this.
Hancock
Super heroes are normally so clean cut, and willing to help out the human race. Will Smith shows us what it's like to be an alcoholic accidental hero, who is used to the public hating him rather than cheering. Jason Bateman helps to round out the cast in this comedy/drama that shows a different side to being a super hero.
Crank: High Voltage
It doesn't get much manlier than this - Crank: High Voltage is completely over the top, balls to the wall action. Whether it be shoving a shotgun in some questionable places, or a display of public affection on a race course, Amy Smart and Jason Statham bring this high adrenaline thrill ride to all new heights. Watch it, if you're man enough.
Zombieland
One of the funniest, and most entertaining zombie films to hit screens ever, Zombieland tells the tale of a loveable band of misfits who come together by accident to survive. Woody Harrelson puts in a stellar performance, backed up by Jesse Eisenberg before he launched into Mark Zuckerberg fame, this will fulfill your comedy and action needs.
Damage
What is manlier that bare knuckle street fighting? This straight to DVD film made a splash in the UK, with Steve Austin propelling this fighting movie into the iTunes charts. The story may not be the best, but that's not why you're watching it. You're watching it for the fights and the drama that ensues. Well worth a watch on a rainy sunday afternoon.
